Job Description:

Position

Baby2Baby is actively searching for a mission-driven, detail-oriented Program Director to join the team. This is a full-time position, working to extend Baby2Baby’s reach in the community by developing new partnerships, nurturing current partnerships, and building Baby2Baby’s institutional understanding of community needs.

Job responsibilities

The Program Director is responsible for overseeing partner services and program development at Baby2Baby.

  • Serve as primary liaison for non-profit partner agencies in Los Angeles
  • Serve as lead to the program team
  • Provide general oversight to daily program operations
  • Develop new partnerships to serve more children
  • Research, solicit, and analyze new potential non-profit partner organizations
  • Oversee new-partner waitlist, application process and training
  • Ensure efficient distribution of community and corporate donations
  • Develop and create programming to effectively serve the community
  • Oversee coordination with partners for events with the low-income we serve
  • Create and manage program manuals and protocols
  • Maintain and manage referral system
  • Research best practices for non-profit management, child development, and social services

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Candidates with at least 5-7 years of experience in non-profit and related field
  • Bachelor’s degree required and graduate degree a plus
  • Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding program initiatives
  • Proven effectiveness leading professionals in non-profit
  • Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to Baby2Baby’s mission

This job will be a full time position and located at Baby2Baby’s offices in Los Angeles
