RAND is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to be responsible for the review, administration and processing of subcontract invoices for payment and to assure compliance with federal and organizational guidelines. This position will also administer subaward closeout functions for federal and non-federal subcontracts. The administrator will work closely with other experienced personnel in a team environment. Assignments may expand over time to include assisting with special projects and various subcontract related issues. Other related duties may be assigned.
 

  • Review invoices for compliance to terms and conditions identified in the subcontract.
  • Administer and process invoices from receipt to payment in a timely manner.
  • Perform closeout subcontract activities which requires a detailed review of subcontract documentation and generation of closeout documentation as required by RAND policy and/or client requirements.
  • Maintain detailed information regarding subcontract closeout status.
  • Maintain organized files to ensure an efficient method for document retrieval in an electronic file sharing environment.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of federal procurement regulations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be organized and able to work independently
Education Requirements

Minimum education: High School Diploma
